Puppy Agreement

 

On the _____ day of ___________________, 2020. 

 

__________________________________________________Buyer(s) agrees to the purchase price of $_______________________ for the purchase of an AKC purebred  French Bulldog puppy.  Date of Birth ____________________, Gender________________,   Color____________________.  A deposit of $____________________ holds the said puppy until he/she is ready to be picked up or able to travel.  The deposit is non-refundable. The balance is due upon pick up or prior to shipping (if applicable)  in secured funds only.  If pickup or shipping is delayed by the buyer payment in full is required.   This is a binding contract between the buyer and Susan Vellenga; 845 Frenchies. 

 

Health Guarantee

 

The seller guarantees that upon receipt of the puppy/dog he/she has been examined by our veterinarian,  immunized and wormed.  You will be provided with the health records. We also guarantee that the parents of the litter are in good health prior and during whelping. 

 

1. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have your puppy examined by your veterinarian within 72 business hours from taking delivery of their puppy. 

2. We do not warranty against accidental injuries after delivery of a puppy. 

3. It’s the buyer's responsibility to provide routine preventative care, such as, but not limited to annual physicals and immunizations by a licensed veterinarian.  Following state guidelines and veterinarian recommendations.  

4. This  health guarantee is against any serious genetic or congenital defects.  Your dog must have licensed veterinarian documentation of the condition.  This guarantee is good for the first year of the dog's life and covers against any fatal or life altering congenital disease.   

5. This guarantee does not cover what is considered normal in a french bulldog breed. Such as, but not limited to Cherry eye, skin allergies, under or over bit, umbilical hernia, elongated soft palate, stenotic nares, or undescended testicles.

6. Guarantee is by replacement of the puppy.  We do not offer a refund.  If a replacement isn't available you can choose a refund of half the purchase price or wait for a puppy to become available.  Full refund is not an option. 

7. Guarantee is voided if a puppy is euthanized prior to sellers knowledge. Or if there is no licensed veterinarian documentation. 

8. The seller is not responsible for any medical or travel expenses. 

9. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and or delivery costs if applied.

10. The seller recommends not taking your puppy out in public until 16 weeks and he/she has had (3) series of vaccinations.  Due to the risk of life threatening disease, especially dangerous for snub nose breeds. 

11. Frenchies love human food and treats, avoid until after 12 weeks of age.  Foods to completely avoid: Chocolate, Onions, Avocados, Grapes/Raisins, Pork, Processed Meats, Spicy food, and Rawhides.

12. If  shipping or delivery is needed, special arrangements will be made on a case by case basis. 

13. French bulldogs are considered a snub nose breed.  They can not cool their bodies like other dogs.  They require water at all times.  Their bodies can not handle extreme heat or extreme cold.  

14. This agreement is non transferable. 

15. The buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract in its entirety and accepts these terms.
